# How to package Houdini projects

**Preparing a Houdini Project for Rendering**

1. Ensure you set up the appropriate rendering node **(Render > Create Render Node)**. In this example, we use The **Mantra Render**

2. Configure your settings here.

3. Go to **Render **> **Pre-Flight Scene** and organize your external files and directories relative to $HIP > **OK**

4. Using the **Choose File Dependencies** window to redefine links to external files. Please make sure their location is correct.

5. Copy your whole project to [Super Renders Farm](https://superrendersfarm.com/)
